Systems Analyst Professionals design, create, evaluate and document ICT solutions in new and existing ICT systems. They may propose modifications to the existing systems and processes, or design new systems tomeet user needs as expressed in requirements documentations or user stories.
Systems Analysts are responsible for designing and analysing ICT systems and products. They gather requirements for process improvements and new features by engaging business users and development andtesting teams. They are responsible for writing functional specifications from the business requirements.
Systems Analysts:

- work under the general direction of senior staff to deliver results
- make ethical, evidence based decisions
build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships.
